Port Blair, Sept 9: Chinmaya Mission Port Blair is organizing a week long Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah (KATHA) from September 10 to September 17, 2022 at Mission Auditorium. On the first day of the Bhagwat Saptah kalash yatra will be taken out from Gandhi Park to Chinmaya Mission on 10th September 2022 at 4 pm. Every day Katha will be held from 4.30 pm to 8 pm. Around 40 delegates from mainland are also attending the programme. Mission has invited all the people for katha.

Port Blair, Sept. 9: One COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands as one incoming flight passenger who arrived here yesterday tested positive. Today, 11 flights with 1781passengers arrived, out of which, 1618 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 101 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, Sept. 9: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,249 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,955 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 439 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,64,597.

MV Chowra will sail for Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on 14.09.2022 (Wed) at 0900 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 15.09.2022 (Thu) at 1600 Hrs from Car Nicobar via Little Andaman.
Passenger Tickets for onward journey will be issued on 14.09.2022 at Haddo Wharf two hours prior to the departure time of the vessel based on verification of Covid Booster/Precautionary Dose Certificate or Negative RTPCR Test Report provided from the RTPCR testing Centre, Port Blair.
MV Chowra will sail for Campbell Bay via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 18.09.2022 (Sun) at 0800 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 21.09.2022 (Wed) 1700 Hrs from Campbell Bay via same route.
